St. Brendans Phoenix Park also cater for young boys & girls who already have an interest in hockey or who would like to take up a new sport.
Youths hockey is for young people between the age 7 and 15 years. At 15, players can then progress into senior hockey and play in the Leinster league.
Coaching takes place for both boys and girls every Sunday in Laurel Lodge (behind St. Thomas Church) from 1pm - 2pm. Cost is €60 for the season (September - April) and insurance is included.
Experienced coaches are on hand every Sunday to supervise and demonstrate skills. Coaches at St. Brendans Phoenix Park aim to give young boys & girls the opportunity to take part in hockey in a safe environment which is fun and enjoyable.
Hockey sticks & balls will be provided by us but we request that each child MUST wear suitable clothing and also wear shinguards and a gumshield.
